Learning Creates Opportunities
Education and knowledge are the most important assets for the future of our children. In addition to the Kreuzherrenschule in down town Brüggen, there are other primary schools in Born and Bracht. Here over 800 children learn reading, writing and arithmetic as they are prepared for life.
The objective of all Brüggen schools and educators: To educate their students as personalities who think and act independently and have the desire to make new discoveries. Not only are creative-musical and sports abilities promoted, but the use of computers and new technologies is also part of their education.
After attending primary school, Brüggen youths go to the comprehensive school: Here girls and boys at all levels learn together. Every year, the school takes around thirty students of an age group through their school leaving examination.
