Brüggen Autumn of Literature
Brüggen author Ellen Roemer came up with the idea. With the support of the culture office, the municipal library and the Geest publishing house from Vechta, it all came together in 2007: The premiere of the 1st Brüggen Autumn of Literature. Nine readings at unusual locations on the topic of “Night” found their audience. Flush with success, everyone agreed: The Autumn of Literature would become an annual event.
