Brüggen Night Watchman
Brüggen once again has a night watchman. Dressed in a large cape and floppy hat with a signal horn, halberd and lantern as in the olden days, he leads guests and visitors through night time Brüggen. The tour starts at the castle, the emblem of Brüggen. Saint Nicholas Church, Klimp and the Brüggen Mill are also part of the programme. He knows the history and stories of every nook and cranny, Ariaans well never seems to run dry. By the way, even long-time residents of Brüggen can learn a lot about their town during such a nightly tour. But whether all of the stories he presents to his listeners are true will forever remain his secret.
