Brüggen Saint Nicholas Parish Church

St. Nicholas Parish ChurchToday’s Saint Nicholas Minster was built between 1479 and 1484 to replace the Saint Nicholas chapel, which included a bell tower and was destroyed in 1473. Its successor was constructed as a brick hall and so-called parish church in the style of the mendicant order churches. While the original gothic church burned in 1751, the exterior walls remained standing. It was rebuilt as a baroque hall church by 1756.
